Join Remind for Announcements and Important Information
There are two ways to learn about government. One is to read from a textbook and the other is to participate in the real action. Each year, the State YMCA Youth in Government Program allows approximately 1600 students to learn by doing rather than reading. Each student spends months researching and writing a legislative bill concerning Michigan citizens and will get the chance to debate and vote on the bills in the Michigan House and Senate Chambers at the Michigan Capitol Building.
This year, Gladstone High School students will be raising money to once again participate in the Youth in Government Program. Please contact me at school if you would like to help sponsor the Gladstone High School Delegation.
For more information on the Youth in Government Program you can check out the MYIG website.
